BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Verbania between the Alps and Lake Maggiore (Italy). Since I was 14 I developed my analogue photographs on my own, working as a photographer and setting up some exhibitions around Italy. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Arti e Scienze dello Spettacolo from La Sapienza University with an excellent final mark 110elode/110 and an experimental degree thesis about Distribution and Promotion in Contemporary Italian Cinema. Then I attended a Summer School in Filmmaking with Anna Marziano and Armin Dieroff at the Btk University in Berlin and a Master in Advanced Cinematography in Milan (Nativa – Formazioni delle Arti Audiovisive).

After more than 20 successful music videos, I work in film, contemporary art and advertising. My stories have focused on female and queer representation, with a strong style and high image quality.  After working her way through the Cinematography Department she moves on to the Directing Department. My first short movie, Pollo all’Ananas ’98, (Pineapple Chicken 98) is supported by the Italian Cultural Minister and Piemonte Torino Film Commission. It’s a story of immigration, stereotypes and mistrust that leads to a grotesque climax.  I’m also writing as the author of her first tv-series for streaming tv:  Love Club, a new LGBTQIA+-themed TV series produced by Tempesta.
